The Hidrotek 100g reverse osmosis membrane, used as the penultimate stage of water purification, is made of a semi-permeable material with a hole diameter of 3 Angstroms (0.00028 microns) through which only water and oxygen molecules can pass. The Hidrotek 100g membrane is designed to purify water from a wide range of organic and inorganic dissolved impurities, as well as bacteria and viruses. The efficiency of the reverse osmosis process with respect to various impurities and solutes depends on a number of factors. The pressure, temperature, pH level, material and chemical composition of the input water affect the efficiency of reverse osmosis systems.
